K4Level 5 - Advanced

New Skills: Scorekeeping, Pre-shot routine, Punch Shots, Uneven Lies

In Level 5, students spend time training indoors and outside to improve their performance. Students will spend 30 minutes each week on nutrition, motor skills training, mental development, shot shaping, and course management. Students must show an ability to assist those around the community, aid fellow golfers, and maintain course conditions (i.e. fill divots, repair ball marks, etc.).

 

Each week there will be a 6-hole qualifier to determine whether students will be capable of advancing to 9-hole stroke play.Students must demonstrate the ability to show up on time, carry their own bag, keep score, understand basic rules, and keep pace with those in front of them.

 

Class size is limited to 12 and run for 120 minutes weekly.

Advanced is for students ages 9 - 15 who have moved through the previous four levels and shown competency to play golf in tournament settings. K4K will provide individual tournaments for children of various age groups who want to compete in team and/or individual competitions.

The program will focus on rules, etiquette, and course strategy.

 

Completion of Playing progress report is REQUIRED to enroll in Level 5 - Advanced.

 

Completion of Level 4 - FOREward OR professional approval is REQUIRED for League play.
